Project management
is a discipline of management
focused on business execution
and performance that reduces
costs and creates better products
and services. Project management
is an execution focused management
discipline that leverages the
use of empowered teams of experts
to accomplish a project and
produce ROI for stakeholders.
Project management is used in
manufacturing, pharmaceuticals,
construction, the oil industry
and more. Proper implementation
of project management can literally
mean the difference between
life and death in some instances.
The use of empowered teams
flattens organizations and reduces
expense by eliminating unneeded
layers of middle management
and thus also speeds execution,
which is imperative in competitive
markets that demand more and
more efficient approaches to
execution. The use of a team
based approach to execution
also reduces group think by
embracing healthy conflict thereby
producing a higher quality product
be it a service offering, a
new product introduction, or
an internal cost reduction measure.
In short, project teams are
the special forces of the business
world. As such this is an extremely
important focus for Decision
Tree Technologies.
